Summary

An example of a Local Agenda 21 in the coastal area of Cadiz, in the South West of Spain. The first chapter introduces the project aims and the ICZM context. The following chapter gives a general idea of the area,including economic and social aspects as well as natural and cultural resources of this estuarine area, where the Atlantic Sea meets the Guadalquivir River. The third and fourth chapters explain how all stakeholders were involved and a step-by-step description of the entire process (methods and techniques). A special chapter covers all communication and participation issues and the final chapter refers to the projects' results. More information online.
