Summary

Breaking Wave IMpacts on steep fronted COastal STructures (the BWIMCOST project) are being investigated by means of a combination of field, laboratory and analytical/numerical studies by a team from three universities. The overall aim is to gain a better understanding of wave loading and its effects on coastal structures leading ot the development of better prediction methods and scaling laws.
