Summary
Climate change ageing assets and the Thames gateway proposals challenge us to manage flood risk sustainably and raise the quality of life for existing a future residents in the natural floodplain of the River Thames. This means we have to consider the natural and built environment in our Plan. This will require careful balancing of the many different interestes that use and enjoy this important area.
