Summary
Volume 1 of a report of the public inquiry held into the proposed London Gateway port at Shellhaven, Thurrock, Essex. This report sets out, on a topic by topic basis, the gist of the cases of all parties who appeared at the inquiry, together with those made in writing, and gives my conclusions from the evidence and in response to the matters about which the Secretaries of State have expressed an interest, and my recommendations as to the decisions which might be made. Conclusions are referenced back to paragraphs in the cases thus
