Summary
There is considerable concern about the health of the world's oceans. Many believe that new and radical measures are necessary in order to protect the seas and the life they support.
The UK Government's impending Marine Bill is likely to include the use of Strictly Protected Marine Areas. Fallow Sea explores the use of such areas for scientific research, conservation and as a response to declining fish stocks.
